From 1998 the era of computer clubs began: noise, swearing, smoky rooms, flickering monitors. Money for lunch vanished there down to the last coin.

This went on until about fifteen, when someone with their own computer appeared in his life. His first romantic relationship gave him what he had never had: constant access to a machine.

At 16 he took his first conscious step into IT: in the summer he pulled network cables through an office. It was boring and paid little, but that is where he collected the parts for his first computer, piece by piece. The missing pieces came from his mother's friend, who gave him a case with some of the components.
